Pandora’s box

I had it all closed, all sealed up

and then you came along and it became unstuck.

I let you in, and showed you things,

My broken parts, you gave me wings.

I learn to trust, you helped me heal,

You made me realise, what it was to feel.

Pandoras box started to creak,

I tried to stem it, too scared to peak.

I couldn’t hold it, it wouldn’t say closed

But you couldn’t handle it, how was I to know,

You went and you left, withdrew and ran

I’m on my own again now, and I’m not sure that I can.
